Bondage For Beginners

By Max Bonny

Thankfully Bondage is much more mainstream these days, however, for those of you just contemplating, here are Max Bonny's top tips

Have you ever fantasised about bondage? Being tied-up and teased? I have!

Bondage appeals to me because the thought of being restrained is exciting. An adrenaline rush I guess. Add a blindfold to the mix and every sense is heightened!

Thankfully this erotic act is much more mainstream these days so hopefully you are able to indulge your desire.

However, for those of you just contemplating, here are my top tips:

  • Don’t try it with a complete stranger! Safety first! Make sure it’s someone you know and trust. A knot or bind in the wrong place (even on your legs and arms) could cause you to lose consciousness or even prove fatal!

  • Discuss it with your partner to make sure you're both into whatever's about to go down. You may be interested in choosing a safe word that stops play if needed. I highly recommend this!

  • Keep it simple! Not everyone is into the whole ‘whips and chains excite me’ thing. That’s perfectly ok - you can still indulge and explore your bondage fantasy. Use a silk scarf or tie. Tights are a good alternative too.

  • Think about how you’d like to be tied-up - do you want your ankles tied together or do you want your wrists tied above your head? Perhaps both?

  • Bondage is also brilliant for teasing and edging. Have your partner tease and edge you with your favourite sex toy.
