First Kiss

I would like to say that my first kiss with my boyfriend was romantic and sweet and a little fairy tale moment….but that's not how it happened.
Our meeting though, that was a cute little moment, like something out of a romantic film.
Every day I would wait at my bus stop and try to stay awake long enough to catch the bus. The weather was grey, the people around me were grey, the world was grey.
And then one day there was a new person at the bus stop. Dressed smart and wearing a military blue style jacket, just looking at him made my heart beat a little faster.
And as he leaned against the bus stop, he pulled out a book and started reading. I glanced sideways to see what it was and was delighted to see it was the same Doctor Who book I was reading.
On the bus I asked him what he thought of the book and we bonded over our love of Doctor Who. The next day he asked me if I wanted to meet him after work for a coffee. The day after that I suggested maybe a walk round the art gallery in town.
For a week we spent every moment we could together. We snuggled on the couch, we walked hand in hand, we had sex in a dark alley. But we never kissed.
Until one night. We were in the bedroom, not yet naked but getting there. He had me pinned up against the wall, his mouth on my neck and his hand slipping into my jeans, feeling how hard he had made me. His fingers squeezed and stroked and his teeth bit against my flesh.
Without really thinking about it, I moaned his name.
And then it happened.
Suddenly his hands were holding my face, gently cradling me. His eyes so close to mine, unblinking and mesmerising.
Then his lips touched mine and everything else faded away. So soft yet eager, commanding and dominating. It was like a spark of electricity bringing my body alive.
“That was our first kiss” he said when we came up for air.
“I know. Why now and not before?” I asked
His hands slipped into my jeans and pushed them downwards,
“Because,” he said “I wanted our first kiss to be with my name on your lips as I tasted you”
And that was our first kiss of many.
